Complete Home Transformation in Lakewood
What began as a minor repair for cracked kitchen tiles and a rotted sink cabinet rapidly escalated after we uncovered severe, three-year-old water damage and widespread mold. This required immediate structural remediation, including subfloor and framing replacement. At the owner's request, the scope then expanded to a full kitchen overhaul, encompassing the replacement of cabinets, countertops, and windows, along with the overhauling of the plumbing and electrical systems. We also fixed an under-house ice maker leak and replaced a broken roof vent during this core work. Building on the expanded scope, the client requested additional renovations to the entire home. The final project scope included:
• Water damage removal and remediation: replacement of kitchen countertops, cabinets, windows, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Installation of new flooring in the kitchen, dining room, back room, and laundry room. Installation of four new doors.
• New casing and baseboard trim installed throughout the home.
• Creation of a new bedroom by building a separating wall in the back room.
• Main Bathroom Remodel: Installed a new vanity, tub/surround, flooring, and trim.
• Primary Bathroom Remodel: Installed a new vanity, shower insert, flooring, and trim.
• Installation of two solar tubes for natural light and five new light fixtures.
Initial Projection: Under 5 days. Actual Duration: 4.5 weeks. Project Dates: Started early September, completed mid-October.
